Dr. Norris, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Norris was born in Gunnison, Colorado and lived there for 13 years before moving with his family to Big Timber, Montana. In Montana, he developed an avid love for the great outdoors. He grew up fly fishing, backpacking, and camping there with his brother and father, and played basketball and football throughout high school. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Montana State University, fighting forest fires and serving on a trail crew for the forest service during summers breaks.
After his undergraduate career, Dr. Norris joined the Navy and quickly advanced through the ranks over four years of service to become a Second Class Petty Officer. In the Navy, he worked as an electronics technician on F-14 Tomcats and Prowlers onboard the USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier.
Once his time serving in the Navy was complete, he obtained a job as a miner working out of Livingston, MT. He worked 3 miles underground over the next 5 years, mining platinum and palladium ore. The dangers of this work caused him to think a great deal about his career path, and due to his lifelong love for animals, he made the decision to apply to veterinary school. He was accepted to Colorado State University and graduated in May of 2017.
Dr. Norris loves fishing, camping, backpacking, and rafting with his teenage son and dogs. His favorite place to travel is to Patagonia once annually to fish and raft their remote, untouched waters. He is delighted to be part of Shiloh Vet Hospital, and is looking forward to helping to support the health and well-being of all of the cats and dogs that walk through the doors.

Maggie H.
Hospital Manager
Hey there! My name is Maggie and I started working at Shiloh Vet in March 2011. I knew at a young age, animals were my passion and I needed a career that would allow me to be around them and I’ve found just that here at Shiloh. At home, I have my better half Kris, our two-legged child, Kash, and our two four-legged children Soph, a mutt from Rez Dog Rescue and Fran, an ornery orange tabby. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being in the outdoors, watching movies, and traveling when we can. I am incredibly blessed to work with such an amazing and caring group here at Shiloh Vet!

Pirate
Assistant to the Hospital Manager
I graced this team with my presence in February 2016 after spending a year living on the streets. I enjoy spending my days distracting the staff by insisting I always have a full bowl of food, fresh running water when I need a drink, stealing their warm chairs the second they stand up and then throwing a fit when they attempt to move me, refusing to clean myself so I look like a stray that is poorly cared for, and screaming until they scratch my hind end while I eat. You may hear me standing outside of exam rooms announcing I would like to come in and ensure you are receiving quality medicine from my team; however, they never let me in. People say I am lucky to live here; however, they are the lucky ones.

Kathy B.
Client Service Representative Manager
Hello there! I was born and raised on the Canadian border in New York. I moved here in 2016. Up until that time, my career was focused on working with individuals with mental illness and have enjoyed the change to the animal side of life. I have three dogs, Toby, Sam, and Stetson. I’m an avid horse owner with three quarter horse geldings, Doc, Cecil, and Ty. While I have shown my whole life and given riding lessons, I have started judging schooling and 4H horse shows since moving to MT. When not outside doing most anything you’d probably find me curled up with a good book. I”m so happy to work with this excellent group here at Shiloh.

After visiting Montana for the last 5 years on vacation, my boyfriend and I decided to make it permanent in June of 2018. We quit our jobs, packed up our cars and drove out with our dog’s Faith and LeRoy Brown. I love to garden in my spare time and can’t wait to expand our furry family.

Jessica L.
Kennel Manager
I started at Shiloh Vet in November 2018 as a kennel attendant. My dad always said I’d be happy shoveling animal poop for a living. The reward of many happy tails makes it all worth it!
